Well fellow schmoozers, the time has come for your King to call in a favour. A good friend of mine has just passed through into the Top 32 Contestants for this year's Canadian Idol.
You may have seen me talk about Matt Humphreys here in the past to promote a show he was doing in Toronto. I probably invited you to come out and see Matt's show, which can sometimes prove to be a bit of a strectch do to busy schedules and other reasons. Well, this time I'm inviting you to check out Matt on national television, next Tuesday, June 14 @ 8 pm. You can see Matt perform from the comfort of your own homes!
It was very exciting to watch Idol last night and see that Matt made the cut to make the Top 32. I knew that Matt had auditioned for Idol, but didn't know how far he would make it. Needless to say, over the last couple of days your king has been watching Canadian Idol with everything including my wires crossed. And low and behold, wednesday night we found out he made the cut! It was so cool watching on Wed. June 8 when we saw him earn a spot in the next round of the competition.
Matt will be performing with 7 other competitors from Group 1 this coming Tues., June 14 on CTV @ 8 pm.

You'll have an opportunity to vote for Matt for 2 hrs. following the show. So please do! He is very talented and deserves a shot at the Canadian Idol title this year. I've always told anyone who would listen that Matt Humphreys is a talented singer/songwriter/musician, and he's proven me right so far. To advance from the top 187 contestants to the top 32 in Canada says something for his abilities. Let's help him make the Top 10, and then #1!!

Your king is a very benevolent king, and doesn't ask for favours as a rule. But in this case, i'm reaching out to as many of you as possible to help me support a good friend who has the talent, charisma, stage presence, and maturity to represent well!
Matt deserves this and I ask you to support him, by supporting me in this effort.
